Freebie Friday at Bugaboo Stamps

It's Friday, and that means a new freebie Bugaboo Stamps image is posted for you over at the Catch the Bug Challenge Blog! This week, Jodie has created am adorable Kidz character. She's a new character, and I hope to see bunches more like her, don't you?!

I created all of my papers by finding a free clip art pattern online (my background paper), and using the colors from it to print 3-1/2"x5" sheets of solid colors, and my bg paper was printed on a 5"x7" piece to give me the full coverage for my A2 card base.

I colored my image in PSE, used my MS Picket Fence punch for the border, my Flourish and Friend Sizzlits, some Prima Flowers and brads.

Stamping Dragon Designs Digi Stamps to Digi Paper

Hi, everyone!

I thought I'd switch things up a bit with my Stamping Dragon Designs post today. I've created some digipapers using the Sewing Stamp Pack from the store!

The bottom two squares use the digi-papers I made. I added a Sizzix Sizzlit sewing machine die cut as my focal point, some Sizzix Sizzlits corner accents, and a little bit of gel pen work, which I wasn't thrilled with, but since it's not erasable.....there it is! lol!

Bugaboo Stamps New Card Kitz Release!

I am totally in love with this delicious digital paper that is included with the kit - and in addition to that, the kit even has TWO images, plus TWO sentiments! So fabulous! I used some of my sash papers, most of them scraps, for this card. The foam flower with the rhinestone is out of the dollar bins at Michaels, and the sentiment sticker is actually "phone bling" that I picked up out of a clearance box for....get this.....fourteen cents!! No kidding! I was totally thinking of this image for it when I picked it up! lol!

Hi, everyone!
I am awake early today - 5:00am! Wow! So, I decided to sit down and create quietly in my room, trying not to disturb my poor, ailing hubby that is sleeping on the couch. :0( He's been kicked in the butt by a nasty virus this week, and has been sawing logs on the couch for three days and nights. I offered to let him go upstairs to bed, but he insists he's happy right where he is. So be it! I will just try to keep quiet, doing what I like to do best! lol!
Today I played with an Elisabeth Bell image, and am so excited to be entering her into the Sweet Sketch Wednesday challenge that is being sponsored by Elisabeth Bell this week! Here is the sketch I had to follow:

I super duper LOVE my Daisy rubber stamp, and when Elisabeth drew this darling Little Rapunzel, which is very similar to Daisy, and offered her as a digi, I jumped on the chance to buy her! I colored my image in with PSE. My papers are old Sizzix Sizzlits papers from my stash. I added some lace, a few Prima Flowers and some brads. Lots of layers of paper on this little cutie!

Hi, everyone!
It's an ABC (Anything But a Card) Day over at Catch the Bug, and it's my turn to create something! :0) With Valentine's Day fast approaching, I decided it would be a sweet idea to treat my son to some chocolates, so I put together this great bag (a cut file I purchased from Silhouette) and decorated it with the most recent Bugaboo Stamps freebie, Ava Heart.

A Bugaboo Color Challenge

Aren't these gorgeous red-velvet colors?! I'm certain you can come up with something fab for this one!

My card uses an adorable image that was part of Jodies January Club Kit back in 2010. She's not offering kits, anymore, so you can pick this guy up at the store individually! :0) This image is called Dino Heart 1.
I pulled out some old Sizzix papers to use that I have always adored, and my Sizzlits. I punched out the sentiment with my Word WIndow punch, and added some blingy heart stickers and rhinestones.

Stamping Dragon Deisigns Pyramage & A Free SVG Bag!

Hi, everyone!

I thought I'd switch things up a bit with my Stamping Dragon Designs post today. Normally I create a card with the adorable dragon images that Janette offers, but today I want to show you what I've created using one of the beautiful Decoupage and Pyramage Pages that she has in her store!

This bag is an svg file I created, inspired by my great friend, Cely! :0)

Both sides of the bag are decorated the same.

The handle is made up of sea horses, starfish and dolphins.

The Lighthouse Pyramage is actually a four layer file, and comes as ovals or squares, but I kept messing up the last smallest oval cut, so I gave up and just used three. lol! It was "one of those" moments! I added some inking to the edges of each layer to give it some depth.

The Beach Bag SVG file contains the bag, a bottom layer to go under the word "Enjoy" and the frame around the word. The bag is one cut, and all pieces fit on the 12x12 at the same time. There are two files in the folder: one with no score lines, and one with. For the one with score lines, tou have to change the line style over to dashes after you open it.

I did not create this one as a GSD file, but if you need it that way, please ask.

The final bag measures approximately

1-3/4" x 7-1/2" x 3-1/4"

Here's my card for this one! I am so in love with the new Guinea Pig critter that Jodie has drawn for today's freebie! I think he is so stinkin' CUTE!! I had a guinea pig when I was a little girl, but only for a short time (my mom decided she didn't like him, so off to aunties house he went!) I did have hamsters when I was in my 'tweens, and I tried to color this guy after the way one of my Teddy Bear Hansters was colored.....a soft golden brown. :0)

I also used a new Quickutz die for my dress form and skirt, and my Nesties Lotus Pendant die. The sentiment was added by me in PSE to one of the image extras in the digipaper pack. I used my Cameo Print to Cut feature to cu that out, and popped it up with some pop dots. The lace I added tot he edges of the card was a white lace. I added color to darken it by "mooshing" it into a stamp pad. :0)

Here's my card for this one! I wanted to do something a little "different" for a birthday image, so I used the Roly Poly Chef - Spoon image, and made it a birthday theme with my DCWV Sweet Stack papers and the sentiment. :0)

BUGABOO FAVORITES -

PRIMARY COLORS + BLING!

We want to see to see you create a birthday project in primary colors, and add some BLING to it!

My card uses one of my all-time favorite Stella images - Stella Birthday - aged to perfection.

I used some Nesties for the frame and ovals. The party hat is cut from a Sizzlit, and blinged up with some Stickles. The dots around the frame and on Stella's hat are also Stickles. The scalloped sentiment and larger oval base are SU punches. A little bit of paper glaze gives her glasses a realistic look, and adds some depth to the balloon.
