I've done couple things this morning: an OWH Sketch Challenge, and some coloring of a freebie digi-stamp I found.
First, my OWH Sketch Challenge #27:
Here is the sketch
And here is the card I created for it!
I used a digistamp from Pollycraft, I pulled out some of My SU DP scraps, and my SU markers, and some Pastel Pebbles Brads. This was a fun sketch!
Today I have a card to show you that I practiced my marker coloring. Coloring with pencils is definitely my stronger suit - markers have always seemed to cause me strife! I just can't seem to pick the right colors for shading, I guess! Anyhow, here is what I came up with:
This time, instead of the coloring creating problems for me, my ribbon didn't want to cooperate - go figure! All in all, I think it turned out okay. Not as bad as I thought I'd do! :) Yay!
I used a freebie digi stamp from GingerLoft, that you can find here. She's also having a sale in her store, so hop on over and check her out!
Wonderful cards- you are fast!!! Your coloring is great- with pencils and markers!
ReplyDeleteGreat card. I can't wait to try the OWH sketch myself. I like how your coloring turned out.
ReplyDeleteThey are both beautiful and I love the strong colors on the flowers. I love prism and copics...watercolor pencil are sometimes more forgiving. I also love the Pollycraft digis. Two beautiful cards.
ReplyDeleteI really like how you colored the birds and left the fence black & white. It really makes the birds pop! Great effect!
ReplyDeleteI was thinking the same thing as Paula; I love the way you colored just the birds! And on your 2nd card, that was a challenging coloring project; you did a gret job.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful coloring on both, and what a great way to use up those scraps of DP!
ReplyDeleteBoth cards are very lovely!!!
ReplyDeleteVery cool! I love those birds. And thanks so much for the link to the digi. That butterfly / flower is so pretty!
ReplyDeleteLove the whimsical feeling of the bird card. Thanks for sharing!
ReplyDeleteI love your cards the birds are so sweet!!
ReplyDeleteGreat birds on that card!! Excellent paper choices too!
