Cartoon Saturday 08/21 - rambling & martians

So here we are......another week has passed, and it's "that" time again! Cartoon Saturday! :)
How about a free little bit of something that's out of this world?! Today I have a cartoon freebie for you that is just that! :) It's Marvin the Martian. "Why Marvin?", you ask......Well, Bugs Bunny is an all-time favorite of many, many people. There are so many characters from the Bugs Bunny Show, and each one holds it's own special place in my heart: the Road Runner and Coyote cartoons were some of my personal favorites. I can remember sitting in front of a 13" black and white tv at my grandma's house, eating Captain Crunch and watching that Wiley E. Coyote running himself ragged over that silly Road Runner! And Bugs......who doesn't love Bugs?!
Now, flash forward twenty-five years...........I met my husband online. After six weeks of emails and phone calls, we finally went on our first date. We went to see the movie, Gladiator, with Russell Crowe. Then we had dinner at a local Thai food place. It was a good date (obviously....we're married! lol!). Anyhow, you're probably wondering what this has to do with Bugs Bunny Cartoons and free digital paper......well........nothing! Except that in order to understand our second date, you had to know there was a first date, and I was rambling..... :)
On our second date, Chris (my hubby) showed up at my house in a Marvin the Martian t-shirt and blue jeans. He LOVES Marvin! That's his favorite character of choice. Well........this week he has been home, working VERY hard to clean out our detached garage (we have a detached and attached garage, and the detached is loaded up with his "stuff"). We are moving to WV in less than two months, and with him only home one week per month,  "taking care of business" has been a long, drawn-out affair. Every week he's been home, and it's been spent trying to "thin out" the "stuff"........for months now. We've had very little "fun time". Which brings me to......he's a great husband, and works so hard to take care of our family! I was sitting in this air conditioned house, daydreaming about how we met (because lately I do that), and I remembered that silly t-shirt he wore on our second date. He still has that Marvin t-shirt, tucked into the bottom of a drawer. I guess some "stuff" doesn't get "thinned out".....which is a good thing. :)

Cartoon Saturday - Read A Book Sesame

And here we are again....Happy Saturday!
Last week I gave you a freebie digi-paper that featured the entire Sesame Street Gang, and this week, sticking with Sesame Street, is one that is focused on the return to school! I love fall, and the feeling in the air when the children start preparing to go back to classes!
This did-paper has a more "worn" look to it. Not extreme effect, but I liked how it turned out. Let me know what you think!

Cartoon Saturday - Who Are the People in Your Neighborhood?

Another week, another cartoon digi-paper freebie! Yay!

I'm having so much fun with my PSE lately - I think I have neglected my vacuuming duties to the point there may be an entire pack of dogs worth of fur floating around my house! YUUUUCK!!!! So, after posting today, I am off to do some MUCH needed housework!

I decided to switch things up a bit, this week. Instead of a Scooby-Doo Digi-Paper, I have a Sesame Street Digi-Paper for you! :)

I loved Sesame Street when I was a kid. My favorite character was Grover.  Who was your favorite Sesame Street Character??? Leave a comment, let the world know! :)

Cartoon Saturday - Scooby-Doo Mania Freebie #2

Another week has passed, and it's time for another Cartoon Saturday! Today I have another Scooby-Doo freebie digi-paper! I made a ton of Scooby papers - enough for some Scooby freebies for several weeks. Should I offer up a different cartoon digi next week, or continue with my Scooby's? Leave a comment, let me know! :) If there's a cartoon near and dear to you that you'd like a page made for, contact me, and I'll see if I can put one together to your liking!
Today's paper features our favorite sleuth, Scooby! I just love this blue background color, don't you?

Cartoon Saturday - It's Scooby-Doo Mania!

I have had a wonderful time creating some Scooby-Doo themed digi-papers the past couple weeks, and thought, "What a great idea for a Cartoon Saturday freebie!!". So, starting today, I am going to give away a free cartoon Digi-Paper each Saturday! So, fellow cartoon-lovers.......make sure you follow my blog so you can be notified of the new paper when it's available!

For a start, I thought it would be best to begin with a page that includes the whole Scooby-Doo Gang! I absolutely LOVE Scooby and the gang! I'm not sure why I do...I mean, we all know the story line, right? Gang visits/gets lost somewhere, it's haunted, they run around after scary things for fifteen minutes, Scooby & Shaggy are scared, and Thelma solves the mystery of the "masked monster" in the end! LOL!! Am I right, or what? Cracks me up - I think I just described every Scooby episode ever made in one sentence! Teeheehee!
At any rate, I do love Scooby - he's a loyal crafting pal! Always on some station at any given moment of the day, it seems. :) What's you favorite Scooby episode? I think mine is the one where the gang visits the "Ghoul School" !!
Without further ado, here's your Scooby Freebie...the very first Cartoon Saturday give-away! Enjoy!
