It's Saturday, which means a new challenge over at Catch the Bug today! We are hosting our monthly B-I-N-G-O Card Challenge! 

Without further ado , here is this weeks Catch the Bug 

Bingo Card:

Isn't this BINGO Card the coolest?! So many choices!

You may choose three squares: horizontal, vertical, or diagonal!

I chose to use the bottom row of requirements for my card this week

 (Starts with B, Bling and Players Choice).  For my "Starts with B" I have used a banner, plus there's my Bugaboo image, of course! I have several rhinestones on my card, and some Star Dust Stickles for my "Bling". For my "Players Choice" I am using the Hot Pink color, indicated in the top right square.

My card features the Bugaboo Stamps Sweet Unicorn image. I played with some text tools for the sentiment that I typed up in PhotoShop Elements. This is the first time I created an arch with my text. I do like how it turned out, but next time I want to try to do a better job with cutting my paper around it so it's a bit smoother. 

I pulled out some old CTMH papers. I have a TON of that striped paper from when I was a demonstrator for CTMH. I had purchased a bulk pack for a workshop, and now I have a bunch left. I thought it was a good match for my magical unicorn.

Meljen's Designs 'Girls Just Wanna' Have Fun' Challenge

Happy almost-Friday, everyone!

I am waiting, very patiently, for the local sushi place to open up for dinner! It is gorgeous outside, and hubby and I are heading to our favorite sushi place to get us out of the house. In the meantime, though, I had some time to put together a card for Meljens Designs newest challenge, 'Girls Just Wanna Have Fun'.

I had entered their challenge celebrating their 200th challenge, and I had won! Woohoo! Of course, silly me.....I didn't check the current challenge theme before sending off my image pics for my win. If I had, I may have chosen something a bit more girly for this challenge card. *sigh* Ahhh, well......I had these Sweet Lips, which I had actually picked up as a freebie "way back when". They are now in the Meljen's store here.

I did a lot of white-on-white for this, as you can see. I colored up the lips in PSE, added a sentiment, and printed. I layered the main image onto a white sheet with some pop dots, for interest. I cut out the 'xoxoxo' banner with a Silhouette cutting file, and the scalloped hearts are a Spellbinders die from the On the Edge set. A thin strip of a deep red card stock from my scrap for the bottom was added to anchor the card.

That's it! Easy-peasy, right?! I know..... but it was quick and fun! I hope you like it!

An Oldie But Goodie at Catch the Bug!

Hi, everyone!

Thursday's are Oldie But Goodie Days at Catch the Bug Blog! 

I love OBG day because I can break out some of my favorite Bugaboo Stamps to play with, and have an excuse to show them on my blog! lol! As if I need an excuse, right?!

Today I am using the Ava Flower Patch image. She is a little Bugaboo Stamps sweetie!

I picked up some pretty Cosmo Cricket papers ( a Mini Deck, they call it). It is their Pixie-licious line. I love bold, bright colors and thought these were beautiful for summer!

I added some Memory Box Tiny Tendril leaves, and a Cheery Lynn Mini Fancy Flourish, to my punched flowers. My butterflies are adorned with some tiny pearls, and they were punched from an MS punch. The sentiment is a Fiskars stamp

.

Hi, everyone!

While normally the Catch the Bug blog features an Oldie But Goodie today, we're doing something NEW! Today is very special! Before you do that, though, here is the card I created for todays hop. Jodie created this adorable image for todays big event, and it was such a sweet image to play with! I dolled herup in some pretty purple-y gingham to go along with some new Cosmo Cricket papers I purchased. This set of papers is called Pixie-licious, and the bold, bright colors were right up my alley! I added a pretty yellow flower that I created by layersing some Paper Studio flowers, a Memory Box Tin Tendril die-cut and a brad. My sentiment is adorned with a few rhinestones and a butterfly sticker from my stash.
