A Photo for Your Inspirational Whim!

It's Saturday, which means a new challenge over at Catch the Bug today! 

This week's theme is a

Photo Inspiration

(See picture toward the bottom of my post)

It's nice to have some visual inspiration, sometimes! You can choose to use the colors, the theme of the photo, or go off on a tangent because of some emotion a photo touches within your soul....however this picture inspires you, we want to see it in your project!

My card features the Bugaboo Stamps Flamingo Car image. 

I kept this guy super simple, layering the image and sentiment layers on white, and then applying to a white card base. I love the way it all looks, so much bright white against the bold, bright colors. The little banners I added on the bottom are punched with one of the EK Success Mini Pennants punches.

Here is the photo to use for your inspiration, too! Ahhh....to be sunning at the beach! I can smell the salty air just thinking about it!

It's Saturday, which means a new challenge over at Catch the Bug today! This week's theme has me using an image I have had in my arsenal for a long time, but have not put to a card, in addition to an image that I had used to create some dp - it's actually a scrap piece of that.

I grabbed a few scrap pieces of paper from my little box (okay....so it's a BIG box of scraps!). I punched the edges of two of them with my Martha Stewart and Stampin' Up punches, layered them on top of a piece of designer paper that I made myself a while back using the Flower Trio image: this was in my scrap box, too. I typed up my sentiment, and I embossed a few lines around the edge, and for a little more interest I applied it with pop dots. My main image is Flamingo Water Plant.
