SVGCuts.com Challenge & A Freebie

Happy Friday, All!
SVGCuts.com is currently having a Cherry Blossoms Challenge over on their forum this week, to honor those in Japan that have been effected by the horrible tragedies there, recently.  Mary designed, and gave a Cherry Blossoms SVG Collection away for free! (You can pick it up on their store website.) The contest runs through 5:00PM on Sunday, May 1.
Here's my entry.
To start, I used a digi-stamp to create my background paper. I found the stamp at The Creative Mind of Sylvie.   I printed it, and the grey paper, on my printer. The salmon bg layer is a piece of Bazill card stock. The layered Kanji Stamp is my own creation, and your FREEBIE today! It is the symbol for "Peace", which I thought was appropriate for the challenge theme. I used Mary's Curvy Swirly Branch file, cut from a brown and white. I chose to skip cutting the tiny flower centers and replaced them with some Dew Drops, instead (I have a TON of them....need to use some up!).

Don't forget to stop by my BLOG CANDY POST and enter to win! As soon as my follower list reached 275, I'll be drawing that winner, plus posting another BLOG CANDY! :0)

Thanks for stopping by! Hop on over to their forum to join in the challenge! You can win some great prizes!

Please leave some love if you enjoy my freebies! I love to hear from you! :) This is how I know you were here, like what you see, and would like to see more!
If you have any problems with this file, please let me know so I can fix it for you, and for others!

And, PLEASE....
