Creating a Scene?

Yep....creating a scene! :0) Not the kind where everyone turns and looks to stare in disbelief.....or is it?! lol! ;0)
Today's challenge over at the Catch the Bug Challenge Blog is to combine two or more images together to "Create a Scene".....and that's just what I've done with this card. I hope you like my combo! :0)

I used a Christmas Brat, boy elf, image and a Word Art, Joy,  image. I added the sentiment, which I typed up in PSE. I punched my image out with a Nestie Fleur de lis Square die. My snowflakes are all punched from DCWV Glitter Card Stock using several different punches from my stash. I used a new Star Chain punch that I received recently, too. All the red die cuts are glued to an embossed piece of card stock. It's actually a piece of Basic Grey from the Blitzen collection. I was originally going to use the red side, but had it flipped over.......it looked so nice as a white - on - white that I left it on the "wrong" side, instead. My main image die cut is popped up on some pop dots to add some dimension. I added the red bling brad to one of the white snowflakes on the top layer to try to draw the eye to the elf  a little. :0)
Thanks for stopping by! Be sure to enter your scene in the challenge - you can win some freebies!!

  1. Oh My....you are the first one to do the challenge. You are Miss Johnny Rocket. This card is adorable and I love how you set up the scene with the pine needles. I think I did something similar with the 2 images. Great minds think a lot. We could be dangerous together...haha I don't have the star chain....who makes that? And, is that one of the new spellbinder punches ...it's really pretty. You made Bugaoo proud I'm sure...haha
