I have been perusing the blogs a lot, lately, trying to catch up with everyone's projects. I'm always looking for new ideas, techniques.....ways to use items that they aren't necessarily intended for. I have seen, for a long time now, Flower Soft on cards, and while I think it is a stunning effect, I am one of those "anti-messy" crafters. I do not like the muss and fuss of embossing powders, too much ink, or things like....well, Flower Soft, to be honest. BUT......with that said, I fell in love with the way the Polar White Flower Soft looked when I saw it used as snow! After a week of debate, in my head of course, I trekked over to the craft store and picked up a container. Here's what I've done with it.

I used some clear paper glaze for my adhesive for the Flower Soft. It was a tedious task, requiring some sticking-out of the tongue and my handy-dandy paper piercer, to put it all in place where I wanted it. I didn't make to big a mess, and I have to say, I will definitely use it again for this; heck, I might even go buy some of the Autumn colored stuff........maybe. :0)

A little more about my lamp post svg: the file this is in actually has three different styles of lamp posts in it: two traditional, and an antique style, which I will be creating a card with shortly. (I will link to it on this post once it is completed). I cut this one with my eClips and SCAL, and then cut the bottom of the post off to use it on my card. The glass panes of the lamp were cut from a gold vellum paper.
Thanks for stopping by today! I hope you've enjoyed what you see, and would love to hear your comments on my project! Please feel free to leave me some love in the comment section, browse my blog some more, and follow me if you like my work!
