Good morning, everyone!
This morning I have a card to share that I created over the weekend. It was a multi-day process because I could not make up my mind on how to decorate this one! You've had days like that, right?!
I was thinking of making this a birthday card for a friend, but it may turn into a general note card that I send out; either way, I was pleased with the way this one turned out.
This one has two images on it, merged, to create the scene. I used the Magic Bubbles fairy image from Paper Shelter, and I added the adorable little guy to some mushrooms. Now, I have to admit that "back in the day", when I started "collecting" free digi's from around the web, I was not very good about labeling where they all came from, and that is the case with the mushrooms. :0( They were in my "miscellaneous" folder of digi's, and were perfect for this Magic Bubbles image, though,
so here they are. I can't even tell you how long they have been there! :0)
Do you see those little butterflies?? They are quite tiny, but if you look closely, you may be able to see the adorable little harts on their wings! Isn't that sweet? I thought so!

Oh....those bumpy looking boogery spots.....that's Stickles! lol! The camera made my little fairy dust glitter look a bit, um......ick! Sorry about that! Seems I am having not-so-good camera days, lately! I have glittered up the face and bubbles, as well as added a few extra glitter in the air for "fairy effect", as I like to call it.

I printed the dp. I found a fabric pattern online, copied it and sized it to fit a 4x6 cut of white cardstock (easy to print form the photo tray and not have to use a whole sheet of card stock - also, perfect size for layering on my A2 cards after I cut 3/4" off the long side!).
I made the mushroom svg, specifically for this card. It is two layers, a solid black base and then the top with the holes in the caps . The "wish" sentiment is a Sizzlit die. That lattice banner in the background of the sentiment was created using an EK Success chain punch. I punched it out, then cut it into a fishtail shape at one end. It was an "aha!" moment when I realized that would be a nice, subtle background! I love those moments, don't you? Geez, I think I stared at that punched chain for two days before having that epiphany! lol!
So, that's it for me today, folks! I have a massage appt later today, and I am very much looking forward to that! I am hoping to be back at my craft table this afternoon, and will definitely be back on blogger later this week! Hope to see you all then! Please leave me a comment so I can come by your blog to return the favor! If you like my creations, please feel free to follow me! ====>>
