First Easter card of the year for me

Hi, everyone!
While I'm waiting for my son to prepare for work (I have to drop him off today), I finally took a picture of the Easter Card I made this past weekend, so I can finally share!
I have been unmotivated to blog, lately. Not sure why......maybe just busy thinking about too many other things. I have put together some cards for my Easter mailings this week, though - it will just be a little at a time putting up here in cyberspace.

This one was created using a pre-colored Bekky's Place image for her store's Year One Birthday Bash Challenge. The challenge is to use something that starts with the letter "B", so I chose her pretty Basket. This had been a freebie on her blog some time ago.

I kept this one CAS, as it will be a mailed card. I have been trying to keep my cards more flat than not. I had a couple of issues with my mail service in the past with my more embellished cars, so this will mail nicely, I think! I did pop up the main image on pop dots, and the ribbon I used has a little bit of dimension to it, but nothing too extreme.

That's it today...quick and simple! :0)
Thanks for stopping by!
Happy Crafting!

  7. It turned out beautiful. The colors on the basket and eggs are so rich and vibrant and your papers to go with it are a perfect blend. I'm envious in that you have at least one card done.....hummm....now let me think!
