Happy Monday, everyone!
I'm back with another Hamlet PigWit Think Spring card! :) I love this little pig, he's absolutely adorable! You can find him at From the Heart Digital Art Stamps. I wish I was hanging out in the pretty Spring weather like he is! It was gorgeous here for a few days, and this morning I awoke to colder temps and icky rain. :( No fun!
I used Hamlet PigWit on this weeks From the Heart Sketch Challenge #56. The talented ladies over there are changing up each weeks' challenges: now, instead of being able to enter with any image, it must be a FTHS image. They are also offering up a twist each week, which I think is so fun! You can either follow the sketch provided, create with the twist provided, or do both on your card! The twist this week is to use 'faux or real stitching' on your card. I chose both the sketch and the twist for mine. (We all know it's 'faux stitching' for me! I never sew! lol!)

I colored up the image in PSE, as I always do....okay 95% of the time. Sometimes I do break out my pencils. :) I cut my image and shapes with my Silhouette Portrait machine. I used a faux stitched circle from the Silhouette store and did some intersecting, from the modify menu, to make sure it would fit my card the way I wanted it to. I punched my butterflies with a Martha Stewart punch and added some bling to them. My little banners are cut by hand. I wish I knew where my papers were from: one of my cyber-friends sent them to me in a swap, and I love them! There was no name on them, though. :( Don't you hate when that happens?
Here is the sketch I followed for my card:
You can head over to the From the Heart Stamps Blog for all the rules and details regarding their challenges, including the prizes offered (which are so cool, if you ask me!).
Thanks for stopping by today! Please leave me a comment so I can come by to visit you!
