It's time for some tree-trimming!

Have I ever mentioned that I LOVE shiny things?!! ;)
Well, Christmas is no exception! It's a super-shiny holiday, if you ask me! I love baubles and lights and .........well...ALL things shiny! lol!
I have been putting together a tree-trimming card, and this is what I have come up with (shiny, right?!).
This card uses my Ornaments Step Card SVG file

This is leaning on a stand so I could catch the "shiny" of the baubles!
I used some glitter card stock from a clearance pack of Summer Dream Glitter Mat Stacks (by DCWV) that I found at a JoAnn store for all the bauble cuts. The designer paper for the bg is from Stampin' Up (I can't remember which set, it was tossed loose in my bin).
The tree "ornaments" are some Stickles, Christmas Red and Goldenrod.
Here are a few close ups for you!
The wide bauble is a two-layer file, but I used the circle ciut-out from the round bauble center and turned it into a three-layer element. The tall bauble is a two-layer, and the round is a three-layer file.

The svg file for the text bauble also includes two small ovals to layer on the finials. I chose not to use them on this card, so as not to detract too much from the other hanging baubles. All of the "wires" are drawn on the card with a black gel pen.
I am away this weekend, trekking across the midwest to pick up my son for the holiday week, while the "hubster" looks after the house and dogs. I will answer any emails you send me once I am back, though!

SO....without further ado,

This file is no longer available as a freebie!
If you wish to purchase the file, cost is $1.50. I accept Paypal payments only for my files. Payment can be sent to my yahoo email address. Please make sure to include the email address you want me to send the file to in your payment, as well as a note indicating which of my files you are purchasing.
Thank you!

  7. Linda - That would be a cool card to make; however, the size that I am able to cut for the step images is too small for these. They wouldn't turn out very well detailed, so I'm working on a different twist to this idea, instead. (Stay tuned this week!) :)
    Thanks for the suggestion!
