Bugaboo Blog Challenge "Anything Goes"

The Bugaboo Challenge Blog posted an "Anything Goes" Challenge, and I created two cards for it. This is my second card! You can win free digi's if you join in the challenge, as well! Click here to go to the Bugaboo Challenge Blog "Anything Goes" post!
I used Poppi Penguin (I just adore the Poppi collection of digi's that Jodie created! LOVE, LOVE, LOVE them!).
For this card, I used a Cuttlebug embossing folder, Christmas Ornaments, for the bottom layer of the card. The second layer and image layer are cut with my Nesties. I added some paper glaze to Poppi's holly leaves and beak, and some Burgundy Stickles to the berries on his hat. Edited Note: There seems to be some confusion on how this is colored, so I hope this clears things up: the large ornament that Poppi sits on is colored in with a pattern using PSE. It's not a paper-piecing or embossing (only the olive card stock is embossed on this).
A simple card, really. No svg's or die-cuts on this one. I used my corner rounder on all the layers, including the card base.
Thanks for stopping by!

  1. cute, but how did you get the embossing on the ornament if it's not cut this and I haven't seen that particular embossing older anywhere....very pretty folder. You know I have a weakness for Bugaboo and Meljen digis!

  2. Hi, Cely!
The ornament that the penguin is sitting on is colored in with a pattern from PSE, so that one is not embossed. :)
I think I purchased the ef from Custom Crops. It was a couple years ago, so I could be wrong, but try them (! :)

  3. OOOH, I love how you paper-pieced Poppi's ornament, and I have never seen that embossing folder, but I'm now on the hunt! Thanks so much for participating in Catch the Bug's Anything Goes challenge with Bugaboo Stamps! :D MWAH!

  4. This is just adorable - I love how you paper pieced the ornament! This is just too cute!!
Thanks so much for playin' along with us for this weeks "Anything Goes" Bugaboo Stamps Catch The Bug Challenge. Hope you'll join us again next week!
    Hugs & Happy Days!
