The New Year is fast approaching

Hi, everyone!
I know we are all (most of us, anyhow) still working on Christmas things, and some have even moved to Valentine's things, but one of the holidays I never see much crafty stuff for is New Years Day (which also happens to be my birthday!). In our family, we stay home on New Year's Eve,  usually listening to music, playing board games or card games, and we watch the ball drop on television. While toasting the New Year is common, we do not drink alcohol, so I have created a "non-toasting, non-alcohol related" card for the holiday. :)
The base of this card is actually a green color, but no matter how hard I tried, I couldn't adjust the colors to represent it better. The rest of the colors look correct, though. :)
I used an EK Success Border Punch for the top and bottom bubble strips. The font  and star cluster are my creations, and today's freebies for you! I've been using my glitter mat stack (DCWV), and that's what  the purple and sentiment are cut from on this card. The smaller stars were covered in gold and silver Stickles. (The Star Cluster svg has some smaller star cuts for layering on top of the base cut, should you wish to do that instead of using the Stickles).
Today, I am doing something a little different, though. Normally, each card I create has all elements in one folder. Because the star cluster could be used separately for many things (think July 4th, Americana cards and layouts, congrats cards, etc), I have linked each file as it's own. :)
Thanks for stopping by today! Come back again soon! :)
Please leave some love if you enjoy my freebies! I love to hear from you! :)
If you have any problems with this file, please let me know so I can fix it for you, and for others!

And, PLEASE....

lol! It's rare to find someone with the same b-day! Usually I meet people that have Jan 2, 3 or 4th b-days, but not so many on the 1st!
