Rock On! A New Release from Bugaboo Stamps

It's Tuesday.......time for a Bugaboo Stamps New Release! Jodie's been hard at wrok on some adorable Kidz images, and she came up with this great guy image, Johnny Guitar! I think this is such a cool image for creating teen boy cards, don't you?! It would be a great addition to a scrapbook page, too! (I really need to get back into some scrapping - my pics are piling up!).

I used some of my great, older CTMH papers called, Rock Star. There is some glaze on the guitar, Stickles in the hair and on the guitar stars. I made the "U Rock" sentiment in eCal and cut it with my awesome eClips. The guitar emblem is from Silhouette, and I cut it on my Silhouette machine (yep - I have two cutting machines - crazy, I know!) I used my Spellbinders for the yellow reverse scallop circle. I think I've had the brads in my drawer for five+ years, so those came out to help embellish for this. :0)

For those of you that don't know, I am a metal head. Yep....straight out of the eighties and nineties......you know...long, crazy hair, torn blue jeans, jean jacket with rock n' roll buttons all over it, stereo rockin' out some heavy tunes at volume setting "11" (lol! and you other metal heads will totally get that reference! lol!)...yep, that's me! OKay....maybe not NOW, but still........lol! ........And don't even get me started on talking about just how "metal" my hubby is......whooooooooo!!!!! lol!
Anyhow, Bugaboo Stamps Catch the Bug Challenge Blog just wrapped up a Christmas in July week, and now they are on to something called "Show Me Your Metal!". Perfect! :0) I LOVE it! Just create a card using metals (think foil papers, metallic brads, etc.....), and link it up for a chance to win some free Bugaboo images....and who can't love that!?
Here's what I did for the challenge

I used a Skelekinz image, colored in PSE. I grabbed a bunch of paper scraps I had left from making my hubby's band scrapbook (see.....I told you he was "metal"! lol!). I added some SU Star Designer brads, and some mini silver brads....voila.....there you have it!
