This is the first time I have colored this image, can you believe it?! I used this amazing Bugaboo Stamps image, Gus Fishing for my card. I just love this guy! Gus is so snarky! :0)

For my card today I used the image that Stamp Fairy provided to us to use, called Patches Christmas. 

I added a pattern digi paper to the ornament in my PSE program, then printed the image to color the rest of it in with my Prisma pencils. I added a little bit of Stickles to the ornament and patch. I used some non-traditional Christmas colors on this.....to match the pattern in the ornament. Lots of punches and Spellbinders went into play for all the embellishes, and a couple of brads helped me attach the flowers.

For my card today I used an image from Stamping Dragon Designs, which you can find here. I just received some new Spellbinder Dies, Blossom Tags & Accents, and I used them to create the cut of the image, and the layer beneath it. My sentiment is punched with Stampin' Up Oval and Scalloped Oval punches, and my white base layer of card stock is embossed with a Cuttlebug folder, Bloom Dots. 

My ribbon is a sheer pink with polka dots, so I made a double bow and added a pretty pink button from my stash of Stampin' Up stuff. I added some white gel pen dots to the pink card stock die cuts. I know the image isn't a baby, but I'm anxiously awaiting my first niece......any day now! This will be perfect for adding to a bouquet of pretty pink flowers to welcome her, I think! :0)

My image is colored in PSE. I've been practicing more with shading in the program. I wasn't sure about the purple on this little guy, but I like it now that he's done. What do you think? For my card, I used some new papers from a K&Company stack called "Fall and Halloween" (not very original for that name, huh?! lol!). I just received some new Spellbinders dies, too, so I used those to cut and emboss my main image, the leaves and the flourishes. A couple of brads from my stash, and some of my favorite fall ribbon from my stash, finish this off!
