Sketch Saturday #139......on Monday

Hi, everyone!
I know Christmas is behind us, but this little fella was sitting on my desk, just waiting for a place to call his own, and with this week's Sketch Saturday sketch, he was perfect because he was already cut into a circle! So, I dragged out some Christmas paper and put this together for the challenge. It was also a good excuse for me to cut open my new Nesties package! hee hee hee!
This week's sketch:
Jodie, from Bugaboo Stamps is sponsoring the sketch this week, and has offered up 7 Bugaboo Digis to the winner! So hop on over and play along!

Bugaboo CHallenge Entry & Sketch Saturday -Post #2

Hi, everyone! Today I'm working on a couple of challenge cards, so this is my second post today. :0)
I made this card for the sketch challenge over at Sketch Saturday #137, and for the Catch the Bug Challenge Blog. Their challenge this week is to show your embossing!
Sketch Saturday has a $25 gift certificate to Simon Stamps for their winner, and Catch the Bug Challenge Blog is giving away free digis to three lucky winners! So, head on over to each of their blogs to play along for your chance!
Here is this weeks sketch for the Sketch Saturday Challenge
And here is my card.

This image is colored in with PSE. I used my nesties for the image and it's shadow layer, which is embossed with my Swiss Dots folder. I also embossed the stars with the same folder. There is some light inking on the edges and dots to give each embossed paper more dimension. The papers are all from my stash. I'd like to tell you where they are from, but I've had these a loooong time, and have no idea from whence they came! Sorry. :(
Thanks for checking out my entry! I'll have another challenge card later today, so stop by again! :0)

Sketch Saturday 117

Today I worked on a card for Sketch Saturday, #117 Sketch. Here is the sketch that was posted

And here is the card I created.

I had scanned him, and he's not very crisp because of the dimensional Pearls I used, so here's another picture of him from a photo I took. I slanted the card to catch the shimmer of the gel pens and the shiny part of the ribbon a little more.

I was almost done with him when I had a little mishap with some green ink (presumaby from a sponge dauber that was rolling around, but I can't be sure if it was that or ink on my wrist). I had to place the top bauble a bit more into the white circle to cover up my "mess", so the placement of the design is a bit off to me, but I guess it's better than having to start all over! lol!!!
