Hi, everyone! This is my second post this morning, so if you are here for my Bugaboo New Release post, please scroll down! :0)
It's Tuesday, and you know what that means......today starts a new challenge at the SVG Challenge Blog, Cuttin' Up with Class! First, a big "Thanks!" to all of the participants of last week's challenge, and for leaving some love on the projects that the DT created! We loved seeing your blogs, and hope that you'll join us again this week! If you entered something into the challenge, please visit the Cuttin' Up with Class Blog on Thursday to see if you're a winner! :0) (Jani will also be contacting the winner by email). In the meantime, though, stop by to pick up this week's FREE SVG and enter the current challenge! We'd love to see what you come up with! :0)
Sadly, this is the last challenge with a freebie for CUWC - Jani has decided that after the Link Up Show & Tell we have scheduled for next week that this will be the last of the CUWC blog. :0( Be sure to stop by for that next Tuesday! I have to say that it has been a true pleasure working with the talented bunch of ladies on the CUWC Design Team! Please stop by their blogs to show them a grand sendoff!!
A free SVG cut file is provided for you to use on a project of your choice. It can be combined with any other challenge. The SVG cut does not have to be the focal point, as long as it is included on your project. You are free to use it along with other SVG's from individuals or other companies. Visit the Challenge Blog for your FREE SVG! Today's file is an adorable GINGERBREAD MAN! Jani made this cutie, and I've dolled him up with lots of Stickles and bling!
I just received a new Silhouette Cameo, and used it to cut out my pieces for the gingerbread. I used a Spellbinders Nestie for the striped background piece. The dp is from Imaginisce. I stamped the face with a Peachy Keen face stamp that I have from the Christmas Faces Assortment. I've put some Stickles on the buttons, and some Rock Candy Stickles on my gum drop border. There is a touch of paper glaze on the colored heart cheeks to give them some shine and dimension. I haven't added my sentiment for this card, yet - I haven't decided what I might include. I figure that my watermark was a big help in filling my void this week! lol!
The rest of the Cuttin' Up With Class Design Team has put together some great eye candy and inspiration for this weeks challenge, so be sure to check out what the talented ladies have drummed up for you! Their blogs are all linked in my side bar for you.
Don't forget to pick up the freebie so you can join in to win additional free SVG's and other goodies! :0)
Thanks so much for stopping by!
Gorgeous card Cheryl, I love your ginger bread man.
