It's Saturday, which means a new challenge over at Catch the Bug today! This week's theme is a crafter fave:
This week's theme is
ANYTHING GOES!
I have used the Bobblehead Thanksgiving Turkey 2 image for my card. I printed it so that the head size of the turkey matched some acrylic bubbles I recently purchased at a local stamp show (approximately 1" in diameter). With the turkey colored, I added the acrylic bubble to his head, and now he has a 3D appearance! :0) The camera picked up the light reflecting off the acrylic, but not the true 3D effect of it.
If you look closely, you can see that I did some stitching! Woohoo! Points for me for making myself work on the machine! lol! This was only my second attempt at sewing, and while my lines aren't perfectly spaced, or completely straight, I am happy with it.
So, let's see your Anything Goes Creation this week! Whip up your project and head on over to enter it into the Mr. Linky!
By entering your project, you could win up to TEN Bugaboo images!
Head on over to Catch the Bug to play along!
Please check out the rest of the Design Team goodies while you're there! These peeps are filled with talent, full of good tips and ideas......and loaded with eye-candy-inspiring ideas! I am so honored to be part of the group!
<=====Their blog links can all be found in my left sidebar! :0)
Pick up this cute Bugaboo image, and others, over at the Bugaboo Stamps Store, and make sure you also jump over to the Catch the Bug Challenge Blog: it's where you can find out all the lastest "dish" on what challenges are happening and what other challenge sites that Bugaboo is sponsoring (more chances to win some free Bugaboo!). Love the adorable little turkey and the wonderful flowers.
ReplyDeleteBoy, it appears I'm very far behind on checking your post. Another darling card and I se you used the acrylic circle again. Love the effect. I think I remember where you got the idea...that convention we went to. I remember the last image you used these on so I popped mine out and used on a card yesterday....thanks for the reminder and a great way to add a fun element.
