This card features TWO images Pumpkin Patch and Pumpkin Crow, both from Bugaboo Stamps

I started by coloring the images in PSE, then combining them into one file. I added the sentiment/poem, also in PSE. It was a nice autumn poem that I found in Google.  I used my I used one of my EK Success edgier punches for the leaves, and I layered a piece of scrap dp behind it for some color. A quick, clean and simple......and very mailable A2 card!  :)

Now it's your turn to pick a favorite image, or try something new from Bugaboo Stamps, whip up your project and head on over to enter it into the Mr. Linky!

By entering your project, you could win up to TEN Bugaboo images!
Head on over to Catch the Bug to play along!

Happy Crafting!

This card features the image Halloween Peeker Cat from Bugaboo Stamps

I started by coloring the image in PSE. I added the sentiment, also in PSE. I used my A2 Curved Edge Die from Simon Says Stamp to cut the edges of my designer paper, which are by K&Co., and my image. I added two pony bead dots that I  made (you can see my tutorial for that process here). I matted everything on some dark purple scrap that I found in my scrap box, and called this a cutie-patootie-done-dealio! :)

Now it's your turn to pick a favorite image, or try something new from Bugaboo Stamps, whip up your project and head on over to enter it into the Mr. Linky!

This card features the image Ava Latte from Bugaboo Stamps

I started by coloring the image in PSE (surprised?! No....I know you're not! haha). I added the sentiment, also in PSE, and then printed it out on a 3-1/2 x 5 card. I cut the top at an angle (I winged it......seriously, no real thought was put into that one! lol!). I added some pretty blue dp from my K&Co pack of papers. The pretty pink scallop edge is a Spellbinders die from the On the Edge set. This card is headed out the door with a gift card to Starbucks for my bestie back in MI. I'm sure she will love the 'hug in a mug' idea (she's a BIG-time coffee addict!).

Now it's your turn to pick a favorite image, or try something new from Bugaboo Stamps, whip up your project and head on over to enter it into the Mr. Linky!

By entering your project, you could win up to TEN Bugaboo images!
Head on over to Catch the Bug to play along!

One more thing before I wrap this up....
I am now assisting the DT Coordinator with some of the more routine things at Catch the Bug Blog to fill in some time for our wonderful Ms. Min, who is expecting Baby #1, and is happily preparing for the arrival! I'm helping out with some posting duties, and I'm also helping out by choosing a Bugaboo Stamps Fan of the Month! So......if you're a fan of Bugaboo Stamps (and who isn't, right?!), make sure you're posting your Bugaboo cards on your blog because I'm poking around Blog-land looking for YOU! :)

A Patriotic 'Anything Goes' Card for Catch the Bug

Hi, everyone! Happy Saturday!

Today is a new challenge day at Catch the Bug Blog, featuring all kinds of sweet Bugaboo Stamps images! Since it's the first Saturday of the month at Catch the Bug, it's an
Anything Goes
theme for our challenge this week!

It's a crafty-favorite theme, right?!  Easy-peezy! While you are not required to use a Bugaboo Stamp in our challenge, we would love to see them if you have them! We hope you join us for the fun!

Since today is the day after the Fourth of July here in the USA, I figured I would do something to celebrate the occasion. We are a patriotic family, so I'm sure I can find a good place to send this one. :)

This card features the image Fancy SB July USA from Bugaboo Stamps. I saw this great idea for the card layout at Snippets, and decided to try it for this card, as well as a few others I have made for the summer season. I'm sure you'll know them when you see them, and I hope I don't bore you with all my CAS designs. I'm really enjoying learning more techniques in my PhotoShop Elements program. I love the concept of this sketch for CAS cards; it adds such a great visual interest, and it's really challenging me to make my images 'better'. I hope you agree, and will continue to leave me some comments to let me know what you think!

I started by coloring the image in PSE. I added the sentiment, also in PSE, and used a warping tool for the text to make it wavy. I used my Spellbinders A2 Curvy Borders One dies for cutting the waves in my papers, then layered them according to the order I wanted them. I used an EK Success Stars Border Punch for the top right corner, so the blue bottom layer card stock shows through the negative. I slightly offset the image and dp layers just for something a little different.

Now it's your turn to pick a favorite image, or try something new from Bugaboo Stamps, whip up your project and head on over to enter it into the Mr. Linky!

By entering your project, you could win up to TEN Bugaboo images!

Pick up this cute Bugaboo image, and others, over at the Bugaboo Stamps Store, and make sure you also jump over to the Catch the Bug Challenge Blog: it's where you can find out all the lastest "dish" on what challenges are happening and what other challenge sites that Bugaboo is sponsoring (more chances to win some free Bugaboo!). It's also where you can check out all the other fantastic DT projects, including the OBG (Oldie But Goodie) stuff, the ABC (Anything But a Card) items, and the Tuesday New Releases......plus so much more!

One more thing before I wrap this up....be on the lookout for the upcoming Bugaboo Christmas in July Week Long Celebration! It's right around the corner! This is always a favorite, with lots of FREE images given away for participating in our challenges that week! I'll have more details on that as the date draws nearer.

Also, I am now assisting the DT Coordinator with some of the more routine things at Catch the Bug Blog to fill in some time for our wonderful Ms. Min, who is expecting Baby #1, and is happily preparing for the arrival! This card features the image Lady Bug Butterfly from Bugaboo Stamps. I saw this great idea for the card layout at Snippets, and decided to try it for this card. I love the idea for CAS cards; it adds such a great visual interest.

I started by coloring the image in PSE (surprised?! No....I know you're not! haha). I added the sentiment, also in PSE, and then printed it out on a 3-1/2 x 5 card. I used some of my old, neglected Paper Shapers scissors and cut across the bottom of my card. I added some black doodling with my Zig journaling pen, then layered the polka-dot dp beneath the two pieces, creating a negative from my cut. I trimmed the edges of the now-adhered pieces back down to a 3-1/2 x 5 size, then I did some additional layers before adding it all to my card base, which is an A2 size.

Now it's your turn to pick a favorite image, or try something new from Bugaboo Stamps, whip up your project and head on over to enter it into the Mr. Linky!
