Hi, everyone! Happy Saturday!
I love Saturday blogging - there are always so many great challenges and creations in blogland on the weekends, and today is no exception; in fact, today is a new challenge day at Catch the Bug Blog, featuring all kinds of sweet Bugaboo Stamps images! Make sure you hop on by to check out all the wonderful DT eye-candy, and we hope you join us for the fun!
This week's theme is
Anything Goes
My dad recently hit his 60th birthday, so I put together this card using a dinosaur image from Bugaboo Stamps: it is called
This is the outside of the card. For this, I used a bunch of cuts from the Cricut cartridge Paper Doll Dress Up. I did a lot of inking to the edges of everything, and the volcano lava is paper glaze. I was originally going to put my Bugaboo image on the outside of this card, too, but I liked it so much the way it is that I decided to embellish the inside of the card with the image, instead.
My image is colored with my Prismacolor Pencils, and I used the Gamsol Technique. I was so happy with the way this little guy turned out! I cut him out, and I added him toa prehistoric background image that is by Dustin Pike. I had typed up my sentiment on the image before printing it up.
I was very happy with the final result of this card, and even more happy about how much my dad liked it! He is a typical dad - doesn't usually say a bunch, but I could tell he was pleased, even if I was reminding him of his age! lol!
Now it's your turn to pick a favorite image, or try something new from Bugaboo Stamps, whip up your project and head on over to enter it into the Mr. Linky!
By entering your project, you could win up to TEN Bugaboo images!
Head on over to Catch the Bug to play along!
Please check out the rest of the Design Team goodies while you're there! These peeps are filled with talent, full of good tips and ideas......and loaded with eye-candy-inspiring ideas! I am so honored to be part of the group!
