A Recipe Challenge with Bugaboo Stamps

It's Saturday, which means a new challenge over at Catch the Bug today!

It's all about the
Recipe
We want to see
Kraft, Embossing and a 'POP' of color

My card features several oldie Bugaboo Stamps images:  Coffee Bean Spoon, Coffee Bean Got Milk, Coffee Bean Sugar and Coffee Bean Sugar Cubes, as well as Grumpy Gertrude Touch Coffee on the inside of my card.
I started by coloring each coffee bean image, and arranged them to fit the width of my card. I actually colored the "sugar" on the spoon of the Coffee Bean Sugar image to look like instant coffee grounds because I actually like to drink instant; in fact, we don't own a brewing coffee pot, we own a Kuerig, which has turned into an overpriced hot water heater, as we never buy the cups for it. Crazy, I know!
I almost never use Kraft card stock or papers, so I wasn't sure how I was going to do so for this project. It was one of those projects that take a couple days  to finish, being left after each stage of creating to mull over the "what else does it need?" question that gnaws at my brain when I don't think something looks done.
I ended up embossing a sheet of Kraft card stock with one of my Cuttlebug folders, Spots N Dots. I layered it onto a Kraft card stock base (it's an A2 size). I used some Stampin' Up Kraft designer paper that I've had for eons in my stash, which I punched with a Martha Stewart edge punch. The 'POP' of color I chose is purple, so I layered my sentiment on a piece of sscrap purple card stock. The inside sentiment is also layered on the same purple color.
My sentiment was created by me in PSE, using Typewriter font.

Here's a look at the inside of my card, using the Grumpy Gertrude Touch Coffee image, which I left uncolored. I did not use the sentiment that comes with her from Bugaboo, but I made up my own.

So, let's see your card this week! Whip up your project and hop on over to enter it into the Mr. Linky!

By entering, you could win up to TEN Bugaboo images!
Head on over to Catch the Bug to play along!

Please check out the rest of the Design Team goodies while you're there! These peeps are filled with talent, full of good tips and ideas......and loaded with eye-candy-inspiring ideas! I am so honored to be part of the group!

Pick up this cute Bugaboo image, and others, over at the Bugaboo Stamps Store, and make sure you also jump over to the Catch the Bug Challenge Blog: it's where you can find out all the lastest "dish" on what challenges are happening and what other challenge sites that Bugaboo is sponsoring (more chances to win some free Bugaboo!). It's also where you can check out all the other fantastic DT projects, including the OBG (Oldie But Goodie) stuff, the ABC (Anything But a Card) items, and the Tuesday New Releases......plus so much more!

One more thing before I wrap this up....be on the lookout for the upcoming Bugaboo Christmas in July Week Long Celebration! This is always a favorite, with lots of FREE images given away for participating in our challenges that week! I'll have more details on that as the date draws nearer.

Also, I am now assisting the DT Coordinator with some of the more routine things at Catch the Bug Blog to fill in some time for our wonderful Ms. Min, who is expecting Baby #1, and is happily preparing for the arrival! I'm helping out with some posting duties, and I'm also helping out by choosing a Bugaboo Stamps Fan of the Month! So......if you're a fan of Bugaboo Stamps (and who isn't, right?!), make sure you're posting your Bugaboo cards on your blog because I'm poking around Blog-land looking for YOU! :)

Happy Crafting!
