New Release Day at Bugaboo Stamps!

It's Tuesday.......time for a Bugaboo Stamps New Release! Jodie's been hard at work on some great images, and this Clyde Hot Air Balloon is just one of them! Clyde happens to be my favorite Bugaboo Critter of all time, so I could not pass up the chance to show him off! I hope you like what I've done!

Pick up this, and the other new release images, over at the Bugaboo Stamps Store, and make sure you also jump over to the Catch the Bug Challenge Blog: it's where you can find out all the lastest "dish" on what challenges are happening and what other challenge sites that Bugaboo is sponsoring (more chances to win some free Bugaboo!). It's also where you can check out all the other fantastic DT projects, including the OBG (Oldie But Goodie) stuff, the ABC (Anything But a Card) items, and the Tuesday New Releases......plus so much more!

I won! How Uplifting!

Hi, everyone!
I had a great surprise this morning in Blogland.....I had entered a card into the Fresh Brewed Designs Caffeine Crazy Challenge the other day, and was so happy to have won three digi's from the Fresh Brewed Shop! Woohoo! (Here's my original post for the card I had entered).
One of the images I picked was Java Hot Air Balloon. I knew when I saw it exactly what I wanted to do with it (I LOVE when that happens, don't you?!). It is a CAS card, not like me, but this is actually what I pictured, so I'm glad it worked out! lol!

I used four of the image, each sized differently, and then created my cloud background in PhotoShop. If you look closely at the balloons, the brown strips of the balloon are made up of a bunch of coffee beans. I was sorry I lost the detail of the beans when I shrunk my balloons down enough to have them all in the space I needed. :0(  My image and the base layer for it were cut using Spellbinders dies. I've been stuck on these decled rectangles for a week, or so. I just love them! I added the flags using some CTMH Waxy Flax. I like it a little better than hemp twine - you can shape it and it stays a bit better. It's a lot like dental floss. lol!
I used my new EK Success Mini Pendants punch for my flags, and Sizzix Strip for the alphabet letters.

That's it, folks! Just quick and simple again today! If you like my card, please consider checking out my other creations, and I'd love to have you follow me. ======>>
PLease leave a comment so I can come by to do the same for you on your page! :0)
Happy Crafting!
