Fishing

It's Tuesday.......time for a Bugaboo Stamps New Release! Jodie's been hard at work on some great images, and this Kidz Boy - Fishing image is just one of them! I think he is the cutest! Perfect for a masculine card, and with Father's Day on the horizon.....well, here's my card! :)

I typed up the sentiment in PSE, as well as colored my image in PSE. I used a new die from Simon Says Stamp, A2 Curved Edge, to create the curves of my papers. My papers are really old. I have had these in my stash since my early days of scrapping, which started back in 2002. I cut the hook, worm and bobber from a retired Quickutz die, called Fishing Pole. The string is CTMH Waxy Flax, which is much like dental floss, waxy and easily "moldable". I attached it to my card using Glossy Accents. I put a few drops of Stickles Star Dust on the fish and the flies, just to give them a bit of sparkle.

Pick up this, and the other new release images, over at the Bugaboo Stamps Store, and make sure you also jump over to the Catch the Bug Challenge Blog: it's where you can find out all the lastest "dish" on what challenges are happening and what other challenge sites that Bugaboo is sponsoring (more chances to win some free Bugaboo!). It's also where you can check out all the other fantastic DT projects, including the OBG (Oldie But Goodie) stuff, the ABC (Anything But a Card) items, and the Tuesday New Releases......plus so much more!

Thanks so much for stopping by today!
Why not post a comment so I know you came by?

Side Steppin' with Stamping Dragon

Hi, everyone!
I back on my love of the dragons from Stamping Dragon Designs for my post today. I've created this card  using the Rupert Goes Fishing Take 1 image from the store! I also used the Boy Word Art for my sentiment, and the A Man Thing Digipaper Pack for all my papers!

I colored him with my PSE. I used some of my new Quickutz dies for the fishing accessories. My grass is actualy a Christmas EK Success border punch called "Icicles", but upside down, it works great for grass, I think! :0) My water punch is a new Fiskars punch that I recently.

Please visit the Stamping Dragon Designs store to pickup this image, a few sentiments for yourself, and this great digipaper to print out, and be sure to check out all the other great items!

Thanks so much for stopping by! Don't forget to stop over at the store to see all the available Stampin' Dragon Designs images and digital papers, and be sure to check out the rest of the highlights on my fellow DT's blogs for more great inspiration! (Their blog links are all located in the left sidebar of my blog for you! :0)) You should also stop over at the challenge blog to catch all the details for the current challenge, and don't forget to enter your project for a chance to win! :0)
