February BINGO Challenge at Catch the Bug Blog

It's Saturday, which means a new challenge over at Catch the Bug today! We are hosting our monthly B-I-N-G-O Card Challenge!

Without further ado , here is this weeks Catch the Bug
Bingo Card:

Isn't this BINGO Card the coolest?! So many choices!
You may choose three squares: horizontal, vertical, or diagonal!

I chose to use the first column of requirements for my card this week (Red, Paper Piecing, Ribbon).
I am stretching it a bit on my "ribbon", as I am including the ribbon on the image, around the balloon, as my qualification. I know, I know.....(bows head in shame)! I didn't want to use any real ribbon on this card, as it has to be mailed to my sweet little niece. You'll give me a "pass" on this, right?!
My card features one of the Bugaboo Stamps,  Kidz Girl - Hot Air Balloon image!
It, and the other great Kidz images, are available in the Bugaboo Stamps Store! Hop on over and check them out!

I used an SVG banner that I made for the border on this card. I created a shadow for it, then used the red heart cutouts beneath that for a little something "extra". I also added a tiny heart punch to the balloon. My dp is something I made in PSE. The scallop oval and oval are Spellbinders dies.

Girly Scrapbook Layout

Hi, everyone!
As many of you know, I have been toiling away at a scrapbook for my niece for a month, or so.  I'm back again with another! The single layout pages are sometimes the toughest for me: you know, the first and last page of a scrapbook? I like to leave room for larger photos, so it always seem like I don't have enough room for embellishes and the photo mats that I want, but I think I did okay with this one. :0) The ovals are rather large, so the pictures for this page should still be a good size, and with the help of the girly-girl embellishes, really tell a story for my niece. I'm really hoping my sister chooses to use some black and white pictures on this - I think that would really set it off! :0)
Although the scanner did not pick it up well, there is all kinds of Star Dust Stickles on this page, to add to the nostalgia and whimsy of childhood days. :0) I created my girl on the swing svg from a digital image, and cut it on my eClips machine. The sentiment was typed up and I used some Nesties to punch it out.

Only a couple more pages to go, and then the book will be sent off for the birthday party! :0)

Here are some closer views of the gazebo and fence.

And a closer view of the swinging girl.
