Stella Says Sketch Challenge
#208

For my card today, I've used two of the Bugaboo Stamps images from one of the Mini Sets. The Mini Set I pulled the sentiment and flowers from is called is called Mini Set - Flower Garden. As you can see from the sketch below, I changed around placement of the image and the sentiment. I wanted the sentiment to be large, and the card statement.
I created the floral tag for the sentiment in my Silhouette software, and I did some Print and Cut technique with the sentiment and flowers. My leafy vine is a Cheery Lynn Die,
Mini Fanciful Flourish - B117S. I added a touch of Stickles, Star Dust to the flower centers, and to the small flower on the sentiment. My border was punched with an EK Success punch.

Here's the current Stella sketch to follow. We'd love to have you play along with the challenge, and hope that this sketch provides you the inspiration you need!

An Oldie But Goodie (OBG) for a Friend

Hi, everyone!
Thursday's are Oldie But Goodie Days at Catch the Bug Blog
I love OBG day because I can break out some of my favorite Bugaboo Stamps to play with, and have an excuse to show them on my blog! lol! (As if I need an excuse, right?!)
Today I am using the Mini Sets from Bugaboo Stamps.  The set I pulled the sentiment and image from is called Mini Set - Roses. In addition to the image and sentiment I have used on my card, it includes another floral image, and two more sentiments! A great value from Bugaboo Stamps!

I chose the roses in the vase, and the pretty sentiment about a friend and combined them to create my card front (inside of my card is left blank). I kept this card clean and simple, thinking that the Floral Oval Spellbinders die I used as a mat would really help set off the the idea behind the card. I layered the image, cut from Spellbinders Ovals die, on pop-dots to give it some additional dimension. The background is cut from Spellbinders A2 Matting Basics, and I embossed all my layers for the added edge to each. I added some Stickles, Star Dust, to the flowers, leaves and dragonfly to give the card a bit of a bling.

You can check out all the great images that Jodie has to offer, at the Bugaboo Store here.

Thanks for stopping by today! Make sure to check out the other OBG creations over at Catch the Bug, and visit the Design Team....you can click on their blog links located in the left side bar of my blog for great Bugaboo eye candy! <<===========
Please feel free to browse my blog, I'd love to be your inspiration for your next project! :0) If you're not already a follower, and like what I create, please consider following me! :0) ====>>

Girly Scrapbook Layout

Hi, everyone!
As many of you know, I have been toiling away at a scrapbook for my niece for a month, or so.  I'm back again with another! The single layout pages are sometimes the toughest for me: you know, the first and last page of a scrapbook? I like to leave room for larger photos, so it always seem like I don't have enough room for embellishes and the photo mats that I want, but I think I did okay with this one. :0) The ovals are rather large, so the pictures for this page should still be a good size, and with the help of the girly-girl embellishes, really tell a story for my niece. I'm really hoping my sister chooses to use some black and white pictures on this - I think that would really set it off! :0)
Although the scanner did not pick it up well, there is all kinds of Star Dust Stickles on this page, to add to the nostalgia and whimsy of childhood days. :0) I created my girl on the swing svg from a digital image, and cut it on my eClips machine. The sentiment was typed up and I used some Nesties to punch it out.

Only a couple more pages to go, and then the book will be sent off for the birthday party! :0)

Bugaboo Sponsors Jackson's Digital Expressions

Bugaboo's Stella is on the move again, today!
She's headed over to Jackson's Digital Expressions to sponsor their challenge!
The challenge theme this week is a

Color Challenge!
Use Lavender, Grey, Green and White

For my card, I used the Bugaboo Stamps image,
This is one of Jodie's newer images, and I used it as a brush in my PSE program, leaving it a soft lavender color. This one is so pretty, and I simply love that sentiment!
