A Photo Inspiration to Motivate Mr. Mojo

It's Saturday, which means a new challenge over at Catch the Bug today!

This week's theme is a
Photo Inspiration
(See picture toward the bottom of my post)
It's nice to have some visual inspiration, sometimes! You can choose to use the colors, the theme of the photo, or go off on a tangent because of some emotion a photo touches within your soul....however this picture inspires you, we want to see it in your project!

Today I am using the Dottie Baking image from Bugaboo Stamps.  If you've followed me for some time you know that Dottie is my favorite of the Characters that Jodie creates. She's so much fun to color! I had not used this one for quite some time, and with my recent purchase of this border for my Silhouette machine, I thought they made a great pair.

I didn't want the border to take focus away from the image, so I created it in the darker color and left it flat and unembellished (for the most part). I did do a little bit of fine lining on it, but even that remained subtle. Dottie is popped up on pop dots to give her the dimension and the focus I was going for, while my melted Perel bead in the lower right corner draws your eye to my silly sentiment. :)

Now it's your turn to pick a favorite image, or try something new from Bugaboo Stamps, whip up your project and head on over to enter it into the Mr. Linky!

By entering your project, you could win up to TEN Bugaboo images!
Head on over to Catch the Bug to play along!

One more thing before I wrap this up....
I am now assisting the DT Coordinator with some of the more routine things at Catch the Bug Blog to fill in some time for our wonderful Ms. Min, who is expecting Baby #1, and is happily preparing for the arrival! I'm helping out with some posting duties, and I'm also helping out by choosing a Bugaboo Stamps Fan of the Month! So......if you're a fan of Bugaboo Stamps (and who isn't, right?!), make sure you're posting your Bugaboo cards on your blog because I'm poking around Blog-land looking for YOU! :)

Happy Crafting!
Thanks so much for stopping by today! I truly appreciate it, and would love it if you would leave me a comment so I know you came to visit!
Please feel free to browse my blog, I'd love to be your inspiration for your next project! :0) If you're not already a follower, and like what I create, please consider following me! :0) ====>>

A Recipe Challenge at Catch the Bug!

It's Saturday, which means a new challenge over at Catch the Bug today! This week's theme is a crafter fave:

This week's theme is a
RECIPE CHALLENGE!

We want to see you whip up a goodie using
One Ribbon, Two Buttons, and Three Colors

My card features one of my favorite Bugaboo Stamps characters, Dottie!
This is an older image called Dottie - Nurse. As I was creating this card, I received a text from hubby. He was at work, and he texted to say he wasn't feeling so great and may come home early. :0(
Poor hubby!! I sent him a message back with the image of my card. :0)

Supplies Used
Scrap Papers
Scrap Ribbon
Spellbinders - Beaded Ovals, Classic Ovals
Stampin' Up Buttons
SVGCuts.com Freebie Sentiment Piecing

As you can see, I chose blue, brown and pink for my colors. I tried and tried to make the photo look like the actual colors, but that brown is sort of an "off" shade, and it just wasn't getting any better! I hope you enjoy my colors, anyhow! :0)

So, let's see your card this week! Whip up your project and head on over to enter it into the Mr. Linky!

By entering your project, you could win up to TEN Bugaboo images!

Stella Says Sketch!

Hi, everyone! It's time for another sketch challenge over at Catch the Bug! It's Sunday, and Stella hosts our sketch challenges every other week, so be sure to stop by for them! Sketches are one of my favorite challenges because they make it a little quicker for me to put a card together - sure saves me the time of planning the layout! :0)

For my card today, I've used the Bugaboo Stamps image, Dottie Beach
I created all my papers for this card in PSE and then printed each out.
I used my Sizzlit Beach Bag Die for the bag, some rhinestones and a scallop edge punch.
Dottie is one of my favorite characters, and purple and yellow seemed so fitting for her teeny bikini. I colored her in with my Prismacolor Pencils quite some time ago, and with the warmer weather approaching, and my upcoming trip to the beach with my hubby for our ten-year anniversary, I thought she needed to be completed on a card this week. :0)

Here's the sketch to follow:

My card uses one of my favorite Bugaboo characters, Dottie! This is the Dottie Nurse image, and I think she is just fantastic, don't you? Which character do you like best....okay....that's hard to pick just one, so how about if I rephrase that: which character do you find yourself creating with most often?

Bugaboo Sponsors CHNC & A Free 3D SVG & GSD!

Hi, everyone!
This is my second post today, so please my Bugaboo Birthday Blog Hop post, too! :0)

Bugaboo's Stella is on the move again, today!
She's headed over to  CHNC to sponsor their
Use a Digi Challenge!
They post a new challenge every week, and this week you have a chance to win some
Bugaboo Stamps! Follow her over to enter your project!

At Bugaboo's Catch the Bug Blog, we are celebrating Bugaboo Stamps' Birthday!
In honor of the celebration, our projects are all birthday themed from now through the end of the hop.
Here's what I've put together for the CHNC challenge, and to meet the Birthday Theme over at
Catch the Bug! :0)

These SVG files are no longer available for free.
Please visit my SVG's for Sale Page located at the top of this blog.

This hot mama is Dottie - Bath! Dottie is one of my favorite Bugaboo Stamps Characters!
I created the bag SVG & GSD file, which is a freebie for you (for one week). :0)
It has the Happy Birthday cut out on both sides of the bag, and measures approximately
3-3/4" wide x 7-1/2" tall x 1-3/4" deep.
The download contains an SVG file, a GSD file, Terms of Use and copy of my finished project picture. The SVG file has the score lines in it, but you will need to change the line style over to a dash, or you can remove the lines if you wish. The GSD file contains the lines as dashes for scoring.

I cut the bag from one sheet of 12x12 card stock, including the backup pieces for the "Birthday" word. (The file does not contain the image, sentiment, ribbon slide, or any of the layers).
My ribbon slide is cut from a Nestie. My papers are by K& Company, from the Spring Blossom stack.
