I just learned something that I did not know before about computer files. First, I am using a Mac, not a Windows PC. Apparently, when a file is shared from one operating system to another, duplicate files are in the folder (the operating systems do this automatically). So, you have files to use with Windows in your download (the ones with correct names, if you're opening the folder in Windows), and files that would work if you were running a Mac (shown in the folder on a Windows machine with incorrect file names, such as "--.cardbase.svg") .
If you are not running on a Mac, deleting the incorrectly named files from the folder will not affect your ability to use the correctly named files. :) (Maybe you knew this already?). If you are using a Mac, when you open my downloaded files you should only see one set of svg's, and the incorrectly named files that a Windows user sees will not be in the folder.
I'm so glad I learned this! I was very confused when I had some followers having issues, as I only see the correct files when I do the download! We have a Windows PC here, too, so I tried the download there, and my folder had the duplicate files in it. My husband knew exactly what was going on when he saw it in process! :) "Yay!" for smart hubbies! hahah!
Anyhow, just thought I'd share my new knowledge with you! I hope you have a Happy Thanksgiving!
Thanks for the explanation. Have a Happy Thanksgiving!
