Island of Misfit Toys

Okay....so maybe this is not really Misfit Toys, but I had the tv on in the background while I was mass producing some 2-5-7-10 goodie bags today, and Rudolph was on this evening. I can remember gearing up for the Christmas cartoon specials as a kid, usually a full week or more from when they would air. We made it a big event at our house....you know....popcorn, pj's, cocoa (hot Ovaltine, actually)  and blankets! hahaha! A true kids dream night! :)
Anyhow, I am easily bored, so I took the inspired moment to make something new! It's not perfect (I messed up my scoring, but was too lazy to re-cut the card base, so it's a bit "whoopsied!"), but I know the file is okay, and the next finished card I use it for will be better. Time is drawing nearer the holidays, so I'm posting a photo of my "whoopsy" card, and attaching the svg file download for you to start working on your own! :)
The window layer is three pieces: base, vellum center, and the frame of the window. The tree layer is six cuts: the base, the tree layers, and the tree stump. The toy layer has a lot of cuts: the base, rocking horse (which is five cuts), the gifts and bows (five of each).
The Sentiment on my card is just a hand-written sentiment on paper that is punched with an SU hand punch, so this shape is not in the folder.
Thanks for checking it out! I hope you enjoy the paper piecing on this one! ")
Crafty Tip:
You could use the layered tree file as a card, itself! Try embossing each layer with different textures. Ohhhh....Pretty!! :)
This file is no longer available as a freebie. Please visit the "SVG's for sale" tab at the top of the blog for information on purchasing.

The files I offer are typically compressed, and will need to be unzipped prior to use.
Cut files are in SVG format and are compatible with Sure Cuts A Lot, make the Cut and any software cutting program that supports svg files.
You can contact me at cherylfirst1@yahoo.com if you have any questions about any of my files, or if you just want to drop me a note!
Happy Crafting!  :)
