An Oldie But Goodie at Catch the Bug with Bugaboo Stamps

Hi, everyone!
Thursday's are Oldie But Goodie Days at Catch the Bug Blog
I love OBG day because I can break out some of my favorite Bugaboo Stamps to play with, and have an excuse to show them on my blog! lol! As if I need an excuse, right?!
Today I am using teh beehive image from Mini Set Spring Stuff.
This is probably my most-used Bugaboo Mini Set. I know I have done many cards this season with it, and I love it so much, I am sure I will be using it as the summer goes on! :)

I used a background svg file from Birds Cards. She has some GREAT freebies, and it saved me time from making one of my own hexagon backgrounds! :) No sense in "reinventing the wheel", as they say! I colored and printed my image, and then I went crazy with my Prima Flowers: inking them, giving them some greenery to nest in, and adding a few bee buttons, which I cut the shanks off of.
Here's a closer look at my flowers and bees:

This card has been entered into the following challenges:

  1. Super cute card! Love how you combined Bird's cut file with the beehive digi then added the flowers and greenery!

  2. Oh yes....this is so cute, warm and sweet...honey sweet! WOW...loving all those cut files and all those different flowers. Was walking yesterday in a field of blossoming clover and only saw ONE bee....that's scary...that area should had been swarming with bees trying to collect nectar!

  3. Awesome card. I love how you colored the flowers. Mine never look this good. Thanks for playing along with us at Crafting By Design.

  4. Cheryl
    What a cute card.
Must try a bee scene now that you have nudged my creative side again. Thanks

  5. Absolutely beautiful! Love all the flowers. :) Thanks for playing along in our "Anything Goes" challenge over at the Simon Says Stamp challenge blog! xx

  6. Fabulous oldie indeed! And the background goes perfectly. Birds Cards already made this background...I'll have to go check. I made one too but wouldn't have went through the trouble had I known!

  7. Love, love, LOVE your last several cards, Cheryl, and I apologize for not getting here sooner to browse and leave comments. I'm just sooo far behind from all my traveles over the past 2 or 3 weeks. I adore the flowers on this one and the honeycomb background. Perfect!

I read and enjoy every one of your comments! Thank you so much!
